Roger Chen

Roger Chen is an experienced technology professional with a strong background in server system architecture. Currently serving as Senior Director of System Design Engineering at Supermicro since July 2015, Roger has a comprehensive history in the field, having previously held the positions of Principal System Design Engineer at Supermicro and Director of Server System Design Engineering at Wistron from February 2009 to July 2015. Earlier in Roger's career, positions included Senior H/W Engineer in the Enterprise Business Unit at Foxconn and H/W Engineer for Motherboard Design at VIA Technologies, Inc. Roger holds a Ph.D. in Graduate Institute of Applied Science and Engineering, specializing in Dynamically Scalable Hyper Converged Server Infrastructure from Fu Jen Catholic University.
