Xin Yang

Xin Yang is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in data engineering, machine learning, and software development across multiple sectors including energy, retail, and technology. Xin served as an intermediate industrial engineer at State Grid Corporation of China, where database systems were maintained to monitor electricity consumption for 100,000 customers. Subsequent roles included data engineering projects at Walmart and Meta, focusing on data pipelines and energy data analysis, respectively. As a machine learning researcher at Hitachi Energy, a predictive model for solar energy forecasting was developed, achieving a notable reduction in mean absolute error. In the role of senior data analyst at EA SPORTS, Python machine learning programs were implemented for customer behavior predictions.
