Jan Poisl

Jan Poisl has a diverse work experience in the IT industry. Jan started their career at Unicorn in 2016, where they worked as a Developer. Their responsibilities included solving environment incidents, handling customer requirements, communicating with international clients, reconfiguring production environments, and supporting development. In 2017, they joined eBRÁNA as a Software Tester, focusing on manual testing of web systems, creating testing documentation, logging errors, retesting fixed errors, and collaborating with developers. Later, they took on the role of a Test Automation Engineer, where they designed and implemented automated acceptance tests using Selenium and Codeception. Jan also managed, supported, and trained other testers, along with creating technical documentation. In 2019, they joined Supernova.io as a Senior Software Quality Assurance professional, and later became the QA Test Lead. No specific end dates were provided for their most recent position.

Jan Poisl has a strong educational background in the field of Information Management. Jan obtained a degree of Inženýr (Ing.) from the University of Hradec Králové, where they studied from 2017 to 2019. Prior to this, Jan completed their Bachelor's degree (Bakalář (Bc.)) in Informační management from the same university, attending from 2013 to 2017.

Jan became a Certified Tester Foundation Level (CTFL) in November 2022, certified by the ISTQB® - International Software Testing Qualifications Board. In 2016, Jan received certifications in Java Fundamentals from Oracle and Database Design and Programming with SQL, also from Oracle. In 2015, they obtained the CCNA - Routing and Switching: Introduction to Networks certification from Cisco. In 2013, they earned the ECDL - European Computer Driving Licence from the ECDL Foundation.
