Mircea Matei

Mircea Matei has a diverse work experience spanning several industries. In 2018, they worked as a Hardware Engineering Manager at EURO ECO TECH SRL, where they mounted smart advertising displays and trained personnel on their usage. Later that year, they joined WPG Racing Solutions as a Communications Professional, specializing in finding better electric suppliers for customers in Rhode Island.

In 2019, Mircea joined Atypical Games s.r.l. as a C++ Developer, working on 3D hybrid games and simulators. Mircea'sresponsibilities included implementing AI commands and developing algorithms for procedurally generating trees. Mircea also briefly served as a Unity 3D Developer, collaborating on a 3rd person war simulator project and making significant contributions to the audio side of the game.

In 2020, Mircea transitioned to the role of Full Stack Engineer at colonist.io, focusing on web development and creating a new map for the company's game. Mircea developed skills in Typescript, NodeJS, Docker, AJAX, and WSL during this time.

More recently, in 2021, Mircea founded their own company, ONERD S.R.L, and simultaneously worked as a Unity Developer at SuperPlay. As a Unity Developer, they gained expertise in game development using the Unity engine.

Prior to that, they completed their high school education at Liceul Teoretic Ovidius Constanta, where they received a High School Diploma in Natural Sciences from 2012 to 2015. In addition to their formal education, Mircea has obtained several certifications. Mircea is a Cisco Certified Network Associate Routing and Switching (CCNA), which they received from Cisco in July 2019. Additionally, they hold the European Computer Driving Licence (ECDL) certification from ECDL / ICDL Certification, obtained in June 2014. Mircea has also completed the International English Language Testing System (IELTS) from the British Council in October 2015.
