Luke Whyte

Luke Whyte has a decade of experience in the tech industry. Luke began their career in 2010 as a Writer, Editor, and Designer for Voices of Justice. In 2012, they joined Tightrope Interactive, Inc. as a Frontend Developer. In 2014, they worked as a JavaScript Developer for Bitovi, building JavaScript MVC applications for clients such as Apple Inc. and smaller startups. In 2015, they joined Crewspark as a JavaScript/Python Developer. In 2016, they worked as a Front-end JavaScript Engineer for Keepsite and a Data Journalism Fellow for the Texas Tribune. In 2017, they joined the San Antonio Express-News as a Data Investigations Editor. In 2019, they worked as a Data Dashboard Developer for Yaka Labs. In 2020, they joined Apto Payments as a Data-driven Frontend Developer. Currently, they are the Editorial Director at SuperRare.

Luke Whyte obtained a Bachelor of Arts in Journalism and Political Theory from Saint Michael's College in 2005, as well as a Bachelor of Arts in Journalism and Mass Communication; new media and visual communications from the same college.
