Tom Chavez

Tom Chavez is an experienced executive with a strong background in technology and entrepreneurship. Currently serving as the Chief Executive Officer of Boombox since June 2022, Tom is also a co-founder and general partner at super{set}, a startup studio focused on data-driven tech companies. Tom founded The Ethical Tech Project in January 2022, contributing as a privacy board member. Previous roles include co-founding Habu and leading Krux Digital as CEO before its acquisition by Salesforce. Tom has held various board positions, including at VH1 Save The Music Foundation, KQED, and Meritus College Fund, demonstrating a commitment to education and community engagement. Tom holds a B.A. in Computer Science and Philosophy from Harvard University and a Ph.D. in Engineering-Economic Systems and Operations Research from Stanford University.
