Daniel Shteyn

Daniel Shteyn has over 20 years of work experience. Daniel began their career in 1992 as an Audit Manager at Deloitte, where they led audit teams, sourced new clients, and trained staff. In 1996, they moved on to become the Chief of International Finance at Fracmaster Ltd. From 2001 to 2005, they worked as an Associate Investment Banking at TD Securities. Daniel then took on the role of Vice President Equity Research at Desjardins Securities, where they covered a wide variety of corporate and income fund issuers in the energy infrastructure space. In 2009, they became the Vice President International Operations at Enova International, where they were the P&L Leader for Australia, Brazil, Canada, China and Mexico. Daniel built and led teams involved in greenfield launches and ramp-up of operations of online credit products in a variety of markets world-wide. In 2016, they took on the role of Executive Chairman at REBEL. Daniel currently serves as the Chairman & President at SuperSim since 2019.

Daniel Shteyn obtained their High School Equivalence Certificate Program from Collège Marie de France in 1987-1989. Daniel then attended Marianopolis College from 1989-1992, where they obtained their DEC in Commerce. Daniel continued their studies at McGill University from 1992-1995, earning a B.Com. in Accounting and Japanese. Daniel then returned to McGill University from 1999-2000, where they obtained their MBA in Strategy and Finance. In 1996, they obtained their Chartered Professional Accountant certification from the Ordre des Comptables Professionels Agrées du Québec.
