David Stern

David Stern has a diverse work experience, starting with their current position as the Founder & CEO of Supporting Cast since December 2019. Prior to that, they held various roles at Slate Magazine, including VP of Product and Business Development from January 2018 to April 2021, Director of Product Development from January 2014 to December 2017, and Senior Product Manager from November 2012 to December 2013. David was also the Director of Online Engagement at AmericaSpeaks from October 2010 to November 2012. Before that, David founded MixedInk, an online collaborative writing tool, where they served as Founder from October 2007 to October 2010. Additionally, they worked as a Senior Consultant at The Cluster Competitiveness Group from November 2005 to October 2007 and as a Research Assistant at The Urban Institute from August 2003 to July 2004.

David Stern completed their Bachelor of Arts degree in Economics and Anthropology at Cornell University from 1997 to 2001. David then pursued a Master of Science degree in Economic Development at The London School of Economics and Political Science (LSE) from 2004 to 2005.
