The name "Suprematik" refers to software for configuring and visualizing products, but the source of this name runs deeper; it is related to the concept of Suprematism or Suprematik. Suprematism is an art movement largely focused on basic geometric shapes like circles, squares, lines, and rectangles, as well as basic colors such as primary colors and black and white. It was founded by artist Kazimir Malevich in 1915. One of his most famous paintings is the "Black Square". Despite considerable debate among art critics, we believe that, due to Malevich's philosophy, it represents one of the basic figures. Now, any printed image is essentially a set of microscopic black squares (though not necessarily black). In fact, Malevich was ahead of his time; he invented computer graphics before computers existed.
