Lorena Rocca serves as a full professor at the Dipartimento formazione e apprendimento scuola since January 2025, overseeing research and directing the Centro competenze innovazione e ricerca sui sistemi educativi (CIRSE). Additionally, Lorena has been a professor of geography education at SUPSI since October 2013, leading the research sector. At the University of Padova, since September 2006, Lorena holds the position of associate professor of human geography and contributes as president of the Associazione Italiana Insegnanti di Geografia - Sezione Veneto - while also being a member of the didactic commission for the Corso di Laurea in Scienze della formazione Primaria and the Dipartimento di Scienze Storiche Geografiche e dell’Antichità. Research focuses include sustainability, geographic education, and geography didactics. Lorena holds a PhD in Uomo ambiente from the Università degli Studi di Padova.
