Tim Hummer

Tim joined AmVenture Insurance Agency, now Suracy Insurance Agency, in February of 2017 after spending over 26 years in the Property and Casualty industry. Tim has extensive executive experience spanning areas including operations, technology, process improvement, and sales/marketing. As an employee at Tranzact, Tim created and implemented autoinsurance.com, a technology-based, direct-to-consumer auto insurance solution that linked shoppers with top tier insurance carriers. At Homesite Insurance, he was responsible for all aspects of the claims operation including first and third party claims, centralized claims operations, desk adjusting, field team, subrogation, process and project management, third party/vendor relations, catastrophic response, licensing, analytics, and claims IT. Tim spent 17 years with Progressive Insurance in a number of capacities including direct sales, marketing, underwriting, claims and process improvement. Tim received his MBA from John Carroll University in Ohio and is LEAN/DFSS/Six Sigma certified.
