Yossi Meir

Yossi Meir has over 20 years of experience in various leadership roles in the software and insurance industries. Yossi started their career at FIS Software, where they served as the Head of Product and R&D, establishing the European development center and managing a team of over 100 employees. During their time at FIS Software, Yossi also directed a global program to launch a new product for the life insurance market.

Later, Yossi joined Sapiens as VP, Head of Business Unit, where they managed business unit revenues and P&L and was responsible for account management, product management, and professional services.

After that, Yossi served as the VP Delivery at FIS Software, where they managed the delivery and professional services for a line of business. Yossi also led the software development and delivery of multiple global complex projects.

Yossi then co-founded Lumaya, where they served as the CEO and established the company's vision. Yossi led the development of an innovative product for the insurance/travel market and created the business plan. Yossi also presented the company in relevant events and met with investors.

Currently, Yossi is working at Surecomp as the Regional Director, Sales & Account Management, Europe & Africa. In this role, they are responsible for sales and business development activities for a new trade finance SaaS platform. Yossi also develops new partnerships, creates product offerings, and initiates marketing campaigns. Yossi has successfully negotiated complex deals and improved customer satisfaction for strategic accounts in Europe and Africa. Yossi has also consolidated all sales, account management, and finance operations using Salesforce.

Yossi Meir obtained their Bachelor of Science (B.Sc) degree in Industrial Engineering and Management (cum laude) from the Technion - Israel Institute of Technology, where they studied from 1994 to 1998.
