Lena Chervin

Lena Chervin is an experienced Technical Writer currently employed at Sureify since February 2022, where responsibilities include creating training materials and API specifications for a developer audience, promoting documentation culture, enforcing coding style guides, and supporting two platform teams as a Scrum Master. Prior to this, Lena served as a Technical Writer and Curriculum Specialist at Classroom Matters, adapting curricula for online formats and training staff to deliver workshops. With a background in education, Lena has taught various subjects as a Middle School Science Teacher at San Lorenzo Unified School District and held student teaching roles at Castro Valley High School and San Leandro Unified School District. Earlier professional experience includes freelance project management and environmental consulting, as well as roles in outdoor education and internships related to environmental literature. Lena holds a Bachelor of Science in Environmental Toxicology from the University of California, Davis.
