Mark Dubé

Director of Operations at Surepoint Group

Mark Dubé has extensive work experience in various management and leadership roles. Mark is currently the Director of Operations at Surepoint Group since May 2022, where they oversee the company's operations. Prior to that, they worked as a Branch Manager at Surepoint Group from June 2021 to September 2022.

Before joining Surepoint Group, Mark worked at Ironline Compression as a Branch Manager from July 2018 to September 2022.

From December 2017 to July 2018, Mark worked at OEM Remanufacturing as a Product Support Manager, providing leadership to a technical team responsible for documentation and support for Caterpillar engine products. Mark also served as a Production Manager at OEM Remanufacturing from March 2017 to December 2017, overseeing safety, quality, and production for the Engine Assembly Value Stream.

Prior to OEM Remanufacturing, Mark worked at KN Ventures Inc as an Operations Manager from April 2012 to March 2017, managing the company's manufacturing operations and spearheading sales and marketing efforts.

Mark's earlier experience includes working at Tesco Corporation as a Shop and Field Service Supervisor from July 2007 to April 2012, and at CSM Compressor Supplies & Machine Work Ltd. as a Millwright Foreman from November 2000 to July 2007.

Mark started their career at Devon Energy as a Millwright Apprentice from July 1997 to November 2000, and prior to that, they worked at TOP-CO as a Laborer/Millwright Apprentice from September 1993 to June 1996, where they were involved in production, maintenance, and welding repairs.

Mark Dubé has a diverse education history. Mark obtained a Certified In Management degree in Engineering/Industrial Management from the University of Alberta, where they studied from 2016 to 2018. Prior to that, they attended NAIT (Northern Alberta Institute of Technology) from 1996 to 2000 and earned a Journeyman Redseal Millwright degree in Industrial Mechanics and Maintenance Technology.

Currently, Mark is pursuing an MBA at the ENEB-European School of Business in Barcelona, with an expected graduation in 2022. Mark has also obtained several additional certifications throughout their career. In 2021, they completed the Indigenous Canada course offered by the University of Alberta. In 2017, they obtained the Alberta OHS Legislation Awareness Course and the Principles of Health & Safety Management from the Alberta Construction Safety Association. Mark also holds a certification in Microsoft Excel 2013 from NAIT and WHMIS Fundamentals from the Petroleum Industry Training Service, completed in 2003 and 2017, respectively.
