Ann Hobot

Ann Hobot has a wide range of work experience in the field of Quality Assurance and Business Analysis. Ann started their career at Redmond Products as a Programmer Analyst in 1995 and worked there until 2000. Ann then joined Emdeon / WebMD as a Programmer Analyst and was responsible for programming mapping Healthcare transactions. In 2002, they transitioned to the role of Business Analyst/Quality Analyst at the same company, where they provided leadership to a team of six and was responsible for the analysis and testing of claims.

Ann continued their career at Emdeon Business Services/ WebMD as a QA Quality Analyst from 2004 to 2006, serving as the Quality Assurance Team Lead and providing leadership to a team of eight. Ann prepared work estimates, assigned and balanced workloads, and enforced QA procedures.

From 2007 to 2008, Ann worked at BCBS as a QA Analyst. Ann then joined SWAT Solutions Inc in 2007 as a QA Analyst, where they worked on various projects for clients such as Boston Scientific, BCBS, and Hallmark Insights. Ann'sresponsibilities included auditing project documents, reviewing test plans and test cases, managing defect tracking processes, authoring detailed requirements specifications, and executing test plans and scripts.

Ann currently works at Surescripts, where they hold the role of Senior Quality Engineer. Ann started in 2010 and continues to work there. Ann also held the role of QA Analyst at Surescripts, starting in 2010.

Ann Hobot attended the University of Minnesota Duluth, where they obtained a Bachelor's degree in Communications and Computer Science. Ann also holds additional certifications, including a certification as a Certified Tester, Foundation Level from ASTQB - ISTQB in the U.S. - Official Page, which they obtained in June 2019. In addition, they completed a course called "Try SQL" at Code School in March 2016.
