Bill Martinson

Bill Martinson has a diverse work experience spanning multiple companies. Bill started their career at Walgreens in 1991, where they worked as an Executive Assistant Manager until 2001. At Walgreens, they were responsible for inventory management, evaluating profit/loss statements, and ensuring a safe working environment.

Following their tenure at Walgreens, Bill joined McKesson in 2001. Bill initially worked as a National Accounts Customer Service Representative, where they excelled in ensuring customer satisfaction and demonstrated a strong knowledge of medical supplies and the healthcare industry. Bill then transitioned to the role of a Business Systems Analyst 1, where they provided technical support for software and hardware, as well as effectively communicated complex technical information to non-technical personnel. From 2008 to 2011, they served as a Business Systems Analyst II/Integration Specialist at McKesson, where they successfully implemented numerous connectivity solutions across a wide range of accounts, specifically focusing on long-term care and home care sales.

In 2011, Bill joined Surescripts, where they held various roles over the years. Bill started as a Production Implementation Analyst, actively managing production connectivity and activation information for systems related to prescription benefits, routing, and clinical messaging. Bill then progressed to the role of Senior Production Implementation Analyst, where they provided in-depth support to Surescripts' participants and mentored junior members of the Operations department. Later, they became an Associate Integration Management Analyst, specializing in project management, technical assistance, and production deployment of Surescripts products. Most recently, they held the position of Senior Integration Management Analyst, focusing on providing quality support, project management, and technical assistance for Surescripts product families.

Throughout their career, Bill has proven to be detail-oriented, technically proficient, and capable of building strong relationships with customers and internal teams.

Bill Martinson has a diverse education history with a focus on computer technology and business analysis. In 2013, they attended the New Horizons Computer Learning Center, where they obtained a CompTIA Healthcare IT Technician Certification. Bill also attended ASPE Inc. in 2010, completing a Business Analyst Bootcamp and earning a certificate. In the same year, they obtained a certificate in SQL Queries from Knowledge Transfer.

In 2001 to 2003, Bill attended St. Paul Technical College and received a certification in Microsoft Advanced Technical Networking. Prior to that, they pursued a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) degree in Criminal Justice and Corrections from Minnesota State University, Mankato, which they completed from 1991 to 1995.
