Chad Cooper

Chad Cooper has a diverse work experience spanning over two decades. Chad started their career in 1994 as a Desktop Support at Fiber Optic Technologies Inc. of Oregon. Chad then worked at Intel Corporation from 1997 to 1999, where they managed a web-based secured extranet system and led a document management system project. From 2000 to 2005, Cooper worked at Freightliner LLC as a Business Systems Analyst, focusing on dealer information systems and integrating Freightliner applications into dealerships' internal business systems. In 2004, they joined Wells Fargo as a Business Systems Analyst, where they provided document deliverables for a software project using Agile methodology. From 2005 to 2009, Cooper worked at Kronos as a Data Center Operations Manager and Systems Engineer, supervising multiple teams of engineers and ensuring adherence to standards and best practices. Chad then worked at Bonneville Power Administration from 2010 to 2011, serving as a Web Administrator and BPM Analyst, managing the business process management system. Cooper joined Microsoft in 2012 and held various roles, including Service Engineer, Deployment Project Manager, and Project Manager, working on infrastructure projects and developing change management systems for Office365 operations. Their most recent role is as a Senior Operations Process Engineer at Surescripts since 2014, where they support the nation's largest Health Information Network provider by defining and implementing production services processes and developing reports for distribution to the executive team.

Chad Cooper attended Portland Community College in 1995 and 1996, where they studied Chemistry. Prior to that, from 1992 to 1994, they pursued an Associate of Arts degree in Surgical Technology from Salt Lake Community College. Chad completed their high school education at Taylorsville High School between 1985 and 1987.

In addition to their formal education, Chad obtained certifications in their career. In January 2012, they earned the Certified Hazardous Materials Manager (CHRC) certification from BadgeCert. In November 2007, Chad became a Certified Scrum Master through Scrum Alliance.
