Davis Houdek

Davis Houdek has extensive work experience in the software engineering field. Davis has held various roles at different companies throughout their career.

From 1998 to 2000, Davis worked as a Research Staff at Neuroscience Research Foundation, Inc. Davis then joined Hypercube, Inc as a Programmer from 2000 to 2005.

In 2005, Davis started working at Sage Software as an Applications Programmer. During their tenure, they contributed to building enterprise document imaging client-server applications and web-based applications for managing medical information.

In 2008, Davis joined Infinite Energy, Inc. as a Software Developer. Davis took on the responsibilities of a team lead and lead developer, implementing innovative solutions and an n-tiered architectural overhaul. Davis transitioned their team to Agile methodologies and automated UI testing.

Davis continued to grow their career at Infinite Energy, Inc, being promoted to Senior Software Engineer. Davis played a crucial role in restructuring the application database, improving maintenance and query efficiency. Davis was also responsible for the entire software development lifecycle.

In 2014, Davis joined Kryptiq Corporation as a Senior Software Engineer, contributing their expertise until 2015.

Since 2014, Davis has been working at Surescripts, starting as a Senior Software Engineer and progressing to Principal Software Engineer and Scrum Master roles. Davis is currently the Principal Software Engineer and Tech Lead, leading technical teams and driving the development of software solutions.

Throughout their career, Davis has consistently demonstrated strong technical skills, leadership abilities, and a commitment to implementing agile methodologies and efficient systems.

Davis Houdek received their Bachelor of Science degree in Chemistry from the University of Florida, where they attended from 1995 to 2000.
