Emily Casebeer

Emily Casebeer started their work experience in 2012 as a Senior Consulting Assistant at Gustavus Technology Services until May 2014. Emily then joined Sovos in 2014 as a Support Technician I until October 2015, followed by a role as a Support Technician II from October 2015 to February 2016. From March 2016 to July 2017, Emily worked as a Quality Assurance (QA) Engineer at Sovos, where they wrote and applied functional, regression, exploratory, and automated tests. Emily also served as a Scrum Master and volunteered for the development onboarding committee. Since July 2017, Emily has been working at Surescripts. Emily started as a QA Engineer and was later promoted to Senior QA Engineer in March 2021. In their role, they collaborate with an agile team, provides input for product backlog, sprint planning, story development and testing, and facilitates retrospectives and daily stand-ups. Emily also had the opportunity to represent their company at the Grace Hopper virtual 2020 celebration/conference.

Emily Casebeer attended Gustavus Adolphus College, where they earned a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) degree in Biochemistry and Molecular Biology. Emily also had the opportunity to study abroad at The University of Edinburgh, although specific details such as start and end years are not provided.
