James G Olson has extensive work experience in software development and project management. James G started their career at IBM, where they worked as a Project Manager. James G then moved on to American Express, where they managed projects related to Lotus Notes infrastructure. At Carlson Companies, they served as a Development Manager and successfully led multiple projects, including the major upgrade of GoldPoints.com. James also worked at Best Buy as a Senior Project Manager, focusing on improving the efficiency of the company's web site. James G then joined MoneyGram International as a Scrum Master, where they introduced Scrum and XP methodologies to the organization. At GMAC-RFC, they worked as a Consultant, coaching and mentoring teams in Scrum. James later joined ACS Healthcare Provider Solutions as a Project Director, overseeing the HealthMatch project for the State of Minnesota. James G managed the project strategy, resources, and budgets. James G then joined Syncada LLC as a Principal Project Manager, where they introduced Scrum and managed the Ironman project. At Ceridian, they served as a Development Manager, leading the InView project and acting as the Scrum Master for a team spread across different locations. Most recently, they worked at Surescripts LLC as a Software Development Manager, managing multiple teams of software engineers and also served as a Scrum Master, advancing the company's Agile practices. James G also earned an additional BS in Environmental Studies and Computer Science from the same university from 1975 to 1981. In 2011, James received the Certified Scrum Product Owner certification from Scrum Alliance, and in 2013, they obtained the Certified Scrum Master certification, also from Scrum Alliance.
