Kat Hiltz

Kat Hiltz has a diverse work experience ranging from user experience design to talent management. Kat started their career in 2014 at Pro Staff, where they worked as an Administrative Coordinator, Talent Specialist, and later as a Talent Manager. In this role, they were responsible for understanding client needs, matching candidates to positions, and maintaining candidate relationships. In 2016, Kat attended Prime Digital Academy's 18-week User Experience Design program, gaining practical experience in designing user-centered products. Following that, they worked as a User Experience Designer and Researcher at Datasite, focusing on the design and usability of the company's SaaS application. Kat then joined Optum in 2018 as a UX Researcher and later moved to Datasite in 2019, where they worked on user experience design and design systems. Most recently, they joined Surescripts as a Senior User Experience Designer in 2023. Throughout their career, Kat has been involved in all aspects of user experience design, from research and discovery to design and usability testing.

Kat Hiltz earned a User Experience Design Certification in Operations Research from Prime Digital Academy in the years 2016 to 2017. Before that, they obtained a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) degree in Spanish Language and Literature from the University of Northern Iowa in 2011. In 2010, they also studied Spanish Language and Literature at Universidad de Oviedo.
