Peterclaver Emedom

Peterclaver Emedom has a strong background in Linux engineering and DevOps. Peterclaver started their career as a Senior Unix Administrator at Tata Consultancy Services in 2012. From 2013 to 2014, they worked at USPTO as a Linux Engineer/Administrator, where they gained experience in volume and file system management and supporting various applications. At the World Bank Group from 2014 to 2015, they served as a Senior Linux Administrator, where they handled volume and file system management, built satellite servers, and performed data management tasks. At the FDA from 2015 to 2016, they worked as a DevOps Engineer/Unix Engineer, deploying Puppet for configuration management and leading an Operations team. From 2016 to 2018, they worked as a Senior Linux Engineer/DevOps Engineer at UMUC, managing Puppet and creating puppet modules for system configurations. Currently, they are working at Surescripts as a Senior Linux Engineer, where they manage Linux and Unix operating systems, implements DUO Two-Factor Authentication, provisions and configures Linux servers, and manages access using Microsoft Active Directory.

Peterclaver Emedom attended Imo State University from 2000 to 2004, where they earned a Bachelor of Science (BSc) degree in Biochemistry. In addition to their formal education, they also received training in Puppet Fundamentals and Puppet Architect from Puppetlabs. Furthermore, they hold certifications from Red Hat, including Red Hat Certified Engineer (RHCE), Red Hat Certified System Administrator (RHCSA), and Red Hat Certified Virtualization Administrator (RHCVA). No specific dates of completion were provided for the certifications.
