By many standards, we are an unconventional bank. Our leadership team is carving a new path in banking, combining human led service with the most modern tech to create a unique service offering. Our customers tell us our services bring value to their businesses in a way other banks could not.

Leading the charge is CEO, Ryan James, an accomplished Senior Executive with more than 17 years of success spanning banking, commercial lending, construction, retail, manufacturing, and investments.

James has brought Surety Bank through the Great Recession, led us through the pandemic and he is actively helping our customers navigate the new age of digital banking. His passion is working with industries that are marginalized by bigger banks and works hard to give them a voice in the financial sector.

As we continue to grow, our mission is to keep exploring and adopting new ways we can bring resources and value to our customers today and for decades to come.
