As one of only four National Historic Landmark music venues in the United States, the Surf honors the legacies of Buddy Holly, Ritchie Valens, and The Big Bopper—whose final concert took place on our stage—while inspiring future generations through music history, performance, and innovation.

Opening in September 2025, our new immersive museum experience combines rare artifacts, interactive exhibits, and digital storytelling to bring rock and roll history to life.

We offer concerts, tours, public programs, private event rentals, curriculum support, and hands-on educational experiences year-round.
