Joseph Forcht has extensive experience in sales and marketing within the flooring and wallcovering industries. Currently serving as Vice President of Sales at Surface Materials since January 2021, Joseph previously held the position of Account Executive at Mohawk Group from 2016 to 2020, focusing on sales in Northeast Ohio. Joseph also worked as a Sales Specialist at Patcraft from August 2013 to 2015 and was an independent agent for Forbo Flooring Systems from September 2003 to September 2013, where responsibilities included marketing products to architects, interior designers, end users, and contractors. Joseph’s career began at Surface Materials, where from August 1987 to June 2001, skills were developed in sales and marketing, promoting wallcoverings and multicolor paint finishes, alongside training painting contractors in installation techniques. Joseph holds a high school diploma in Social Sciences from Martin Luther King, graduated in 1987.
