Brian Lamers

Brian Lamers has a strong background in financial management and operations. Brian started their career as a Site Controller at Plexus from 1997 to 2003. Brian then moved on to Oshkosh Truck where they served as a Business Unit Manager, overseeing a large government contract for the production of medium vehicles. Brian successfully reconciled the contract's finances and ensured profitability. Lamers then joined Val-Fab, Inc as the Chief Financial Officer, where they were responsible for various areas including procurement, sales, and human resources. Brian successfully negotiated major deals and implemented a job costing system. Currently, they are the Chief Operating Officer and Vice President at Surface Mount Technology Corporation since 2007. In this role, they are responsible for driving the company's growth and profitability by managing all aspects of its performance.

Brian Lamers earned their Bachelor's Degree in Accounting/Finance from the University of Wisconsin-Whitewater, where they studied from 1992 to 1996. Later, they pursued a Master of Business Administration (M.B.A.) in the field of Masters of Business at the University of Wisconsin Oshkosh from 1999 to 2002.
