Billy Reilly

Billy Reilly has over six years of work experience in the software engineering industry. In 2015, they were an Incoming Summer Intern at Accenture UK, where they were involved in capturing client needs during the requirement gathering phase and conducted a detailed retail benchmarking analysis of competitor sites. In 2017, they worked as a Junior Front-End Developer at On Track Retail, developing JavaScript web apps using React, Redux/Flux, Immutable.js, Jest, Jasmine and Enzyme. In the same year, they also worked as a Tech for Good Coordinator at Student Hubs, launching and managing new volunteering schemes which utilise students' specialist tech knowledge. In 2018, they joined Arcadia Group Ltd as a Senior Software Engineer, acting as tech lead for a new CRO team tasked with bringing A/B testing activities in-house for Arcadia's multi-brand eCommerce web app. Billy also developed new features and platform improvements across the core eCommerce application. In 2020, they joined DAZN Group as a Staff Software Engineer and Senior Software Engineer. Currently, they are working as a Senior Software Engineer at Surfboard.

Billy Reilly obtained their BSc in Mathematics with Study in Continental Europe from the University of Bristol between 2012 and 2016. Billy also participated in an ERASMUS program at the Université de Bordeaux in 2014 and 2015, where they obtained a L2 Mathématiques. Before that, they attended The London Oratory School between 2005 and 2012 and obtained A Levels in Mathematics, Further Mathematics, Physics and French. Billy also has an AWS Certified Developer - Associate certification from Amazon Web Services (AWS) obtained in November 2019.
