Yanan Wu

Yanan Wu is a seasoned executive in the financial services sector with extensive experience spanning over two decades. Currently serving as the Chairman and CEO of Surfin since May 2015, a leading financial service firm in Singapore specializing in wealth management technology for emerging markets, Yanan Wu drives innovation through AI and big data analytics. Prior roles include Head of Quant at Eastspring Investments from December 2009 to April 2015, President of Cathay Maple Capital Management for a brief period in 2009, and Vice President of Portfolio Management at TD Asset Management from January 2000 to April 2009. Yanan Wu holds a Ph.D. in Statistical Physics from Western University and completed postdoctoral research at Los Alamos National Lab, demonstrating a strong academic foundation in the sciences that supports a robust career in finance.
