Roel Maas

Scientist at Surfix

Roel Maas is a dedicated scientist specializing in cartridge development at Surfix Diagnostics since September 2022. Prior to this role, Roel completed a PhD candidacy at Radboud University Nijmegen from January 2018 to September 2022 and contributed as a Master Thesis Student at the Max Planck Institute for Biochemistry in the Schwille lab from February 2017 to August 2017. Roel holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Molecular Life Sciences from Radboud University, completed between 2012 and 2015, and participated in the Radboud Honours Academy from 2013 to 2015. Earlier educational accomplishments include VWO at Rythovius College Eersel from 2006 to 2012. Roel's career also includes experience as kitchen staff at 't Menneke from March 2010 to March 2016.
