Subrata Roy

Subrata Roy is the founder and president of SurfPlasma. Subrata was previously a distinguished visiting fellow at The Royal Academy of Engineering from January 2013 to December 2013. Prior to that, they were with SurfPlasma, Inc. and the University of Florida. From 2000 to 2008, they were with the Air Force Research Laboratory as a summer faculty member. Subrata also spent one summer at the NASA Glenn Research Center in 2000.

Subrata Roy completed a Ph.D. in Engineering Science from the University of Tennessee, Knoxville. Subrata also holds a BME from Jadavpur University and has studied at Jagadbandhu Institution and St. Xavier's College.
