Founded in 1959, Surfside Playhouse is a nonprofit community theater dedicated to enriching Florida’s Space Coast through live performance, education, and cultural engagement. As a 501(c)(3) organization, we serve as a creative hub where artists, volunteers, and audiences come together to celebrate the transformative power of the performing arts.

Our 250-seat, fully air-conditioned theater in Cocoa Beach offers a diverse lineup of productions—from classic dramas and musicals to contemporary comedies and original works. Each season, we present high-quality performances that entertain, inspire, and reflect the vibrant spirit of our coastal community.

Beyond the stage, Surfside Playhouse is committed to education and outreach. Our programs include the Surfside Youth Players, improvisation classes, and an annual playwriting competition, all designed to nurture emerging talent and foster a lifelong appreciation for the arts.
