Robert Hicks

Robert Hicks is the President and Chief Executive Officer of Surfx Technologies, a position held since November 2014, and also the founder of Surfx Technologies LLC since May 1999. The company specializes in selling atmospheric pressure plasma systems for surface engineering across various industries, including aerospace, automotive, medical device, and semiconductor packaging. Prior to these roles, Robert Hicks served as a professor at UCLA from June 1985 to June 2017, focusing on chemical engineering and materials surface chemistry. Robert Hicks earned a Ph.D. in Chemical Engineering from the University of California, Berkeley, between 1979 and 1984.
