Surge Films is a South Yorkshire-based Community Interest Company that operates at the intersection of award-worthy production and genuine social impact. As a creative agency and production house, we craft powerful, visually compelling narratives and branded content, while reinvesting every penny of profit into free, hands-on filmmaking training and real employment opportunities for underrepresented young people across the region.

Our participants don't just learn; they work on productions, explore every role from directing to colour grading, and receive up to a year of post-programme mentoring. Surge Films isn't just building great content; we're building the next generation of storytellers and giving young voices in the North the platform they deserve.
