John Soer

John Soer has extensive work experience in the software industry. John is currently working as a Lead Software Architect at Vayle since October 2022. Prior to this, they co-founded and served as the Lead Solution Developer at Surge1 since October 2016. John also worked as a Senior IT Consultant at Dishout IT Solutions from January 2007 onwards. In addition, they have experience working as a Development Lead at Robarts Clinical Trials from July 2014 to July 2015. Before that, they worked as a Senior Software Engineer at Phoenix Interactive Design Inc. from 2005 to 2007. Lastly, they were a Technical Lead at Ontario Joint Replacement Registry from 2000 to 2005.

John Soer attended the University of Waterloo from 1994 to 1999, where they obtained a Bachelor of Mathematics degree with a specialization in Honours Computer Science and Information Systems. In March 2022, they also received a certification in CyberSecurity from Watsec Cyber Risk Management, specifically the Certified Practition for CyberSecurity Certification (CPCSC).
