Samuel Pullen

Samuel Pullen has held a variety of roles in the past seven years. From 2015-2017, they worked as a Park Operations Team Member at Cedar Fair Entertainment Company. In 2017, they became a Team Member at Pet Supplies Plus. From 2018-2019, they were a Graphic Designer at the Thomas Edison Birthplace Museum. During 2019, they held four positions at The University of Akron, including SOuRCe Manager, Department of Student Life, Student Graphic Designer @ CoB, Operations, Department of Student Life, and SOuRCe Liaison, Department of Student Life. In 2020, they were an Amazon Associate at Amazon. In 2021, they were a Web Designer at Diversified Services Group, Inc. Samuel currently holds the role of Print & Digital Lead Designer at Surgere since 2022.

Samuel Pullen attended EHOVE Career Center/Edison High School from 2014 to 2018. Samuel then obtained certifications from Adobe, LinkedIn, and Coursera in Graphic Design, After Effects, Delegating Tasks, Effective Listening, Interpersonal Communication, and Logo Design. In 2018, they obtained certifications in Adobe Illustrator CS, Adobe Photoshop CS, and Adobe Premiere Pro. In 2022, they obtained a Bachelor of Fine Arts (BFA) in Graphic Design from The University of Akron. Samuel also obtained certifications from Coursera in Foundations of Project Management, Foundations of Digital Marketing and E-commerce, Design a User Experience for Social Good & Prepare for Jobs, Google UX Design Certificate, Google UX Design Specialization, Conduct UX Research and Test Early Concepts, Create High-Fidelity Designs and Prototypes in Figma, Responsive Web Design in Adobe XD, Build Wireframes and Low-Fidelity Prototypes, Foundations of User Experience (UX) Design, and Start the UX Design Process: Empathize, Define, and Ideate.
