Brian Peterson

Brian Peterson is an accomplished Principal Engineer in Technical Services at SurModics, where a global technical services team was established to support licensed medical device customers in hydrophilic and drug delivery technologies since October 2005. Prior experience includes serving as Product Technology Manager at Degussa from 2000 to 2004, overseeing R&D, analytical testing, and technology transfer for coatings and adhesives. Additionally, as Development Scientist at Bayer MaterialScience from 1988 to 1999, responsibilities included leading customer support and product commercialization efforts. Brian Peterson holds a Ph.D. in Organic Chemistry from the University of Minnesota and a BS in Chemistry from the University of Wisconsin-Madison.
