John Bridgeman

John Bridgeman serves as the Vice President of Research & Development at Surmodics since August 2019. With extensive experience in the medical device industry, John previously held the position of Senior Director of Device Design at Vascular Solutions from May 2009 to August 2019. Prior to that, John was the Director of Research and Development at Atritech, Inc. from October 2000 to May 2009. Earlier in the career, John worked as a Senior R&D Engineer at Possis Medical and as an R&D Engineer / Project Engineer at Medtronic Vascular. John's career in product development began at Surmodics as a Product Development Engineer from April 1991 to November 1994.
