Ryan Keegan

Ryan Keegan is a Senior Engineer at Surmodics since December 2016, where responsibilities include coordinating builds for clinical trials and organizing execution of IOQ and PQ for drug coated balloon platforms. Prior experience includes roles as Associate Process Engineer at BioAmber Inc., focusing on downstream purification processes and contributing to the design of a 30K ton plant in Sarnia, Ontario, and as Inside Sales Representative at Emerson Process Management, selling and supporting various Rosemount products. Earlier positions at BioAmber included Pilot Plant Engineer roles, where Ryan worked on purification processes for succinic acid fermentation and characterized mass balances in production operations. Ryan began a career with an internship as a Chemical Engineer at Sanimax, developing quality control protocols. Ryan holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Chemical Engineering from the University of Wisconsin-Madison, obtained in 2011.
