David Benoit, PhD, is a research scientist with extensive experience in mathematical modeling, multivariate statistics, and data visualization. They developed models during their PhD to better understand recreational fisheries dynamics and honed strong communication skills through teaching at the University of Toronto. Currently, they work with the Great Lakes Fishery Commission to design a trait database for fish passage studies, while remaining fluent in both French and English. They are open to networking within the fields of ecology and environmental science.
