Josh Koons

Josh Koons has a comprehensive work experience in the field of clinical operations and research. Josh joined Surrozen in 2021 as the Manager of Clinical Operations, following their previous role as Manager of Clinical Operations at ICON plc. At ICON plc, they held multiple positions, including Senior Clinical Trial Manager from 2020 to 2021, Clinical Trial Manager from 2015 to present, and Senior Clinical Research Associate from 2013 to 2015. Prior to their tenure at ICON plc, Josh worked at Theorem Clinical Research as a Senior Clinical Research Associate from 2005 to 2013. Josh began their career as a Lab Technician at Indiana University School of Medicine in 2001. Overall, Josh Koons has gained extensive experience and expertise in clinical operations and research throughout their career.

Josh Koons earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Psychology from Stanford University, where they studied from 1994 to 1998. Following this, they pursued a Master of Science degree in Biology, with a focus on General Biology, at Indiana University Purdue University Indianapolis from 2000 to 2001.
