Tracy Chen

Tracy Chen has extensive experience in quality assurance, spanning over 20 years. Tracy'scurrent role is as the Head of Quality at Surrozen, a position they have held since November 2022. Before joining Surrozen, Tracy served as the Executive Director of Clinical Quality Assurance at Arcus Biosciences from March 2020 to October 2022. Prior to that, they were the Senior Director of Quality Assurance at Atreca, Inc. from May 2019 to November 2019. Tracy also held the position of Senior Director of Quality Assurance at Five Prime Therapeutics Inc. (now Amgen) from December 2016 to May 2019. Tracy has additional experience as the Director of Quality Assurance at Plexxikon Inc. from December 2014 to December 2016, the Director of Quality Assurance at Anacor Pharmaceuticals from April 2011 to August 2013, and as the Senior Quality Assurance Manager at Alexza / Ferrer from July 2007 to April 2011. Tracy began their career as a Quality Assurance Manager at Johnson & Johnson, where they worked from February 2001 to January 2007.

Tracy Chen completed their Bachelor of Arts degree in Biology/Biological Sciences from the University of California, Berkeley, between 1988 and 1992. Tracy then pursued a Master of Business Administration (MBA) specializing in Business Administration and Management at San Francisco State University, from 2001 to 2003.
