Dr Sudhir Chandra Sur Institute of Technology and Sports Complex was established in
the year 2009 under the aegis of JIS Group of Institutions, covering a land of 12.14
acres with a simple vision To create a conducive environment where changes &
challenges that new technology bring would benefit the society.
The College follows a unique pedagogy to ensure its students have the opportunity to
face the rigorous of ever-changing demands of real-world situations in tandem with the
industry. It is supplemented with on-going and regular interaction with business and
industry leaders providing the students real life platform to assess and experience the application and
effective results of what is taught as concepts in their classrooms. The faculties are experts at
integrating knowledge with competitive insights and practical application. Their experience is drawn

Institute is one of the leading engineering colleges in Kolkata as well as in Eastern India. Located
centrally in Dum Dum on a land area of 5.64 acres, well connected by Bus, Metro and Eastern
Railway, the college is 5 Kms away from Netaji Subhash Chandra Bose International Airport. The
college was established in 2009 and has already churned out 7 batches of engineers who are well
