Esther P. has a diverse work experience spanning multiple industries. Esther started their career in 2008 as a Medical Interpreter and Administrative Assistant at Centros Medicos Catalunya S.L. In 2010, they worked as a Junior Project Manager at translation.ie. Esther then moved on to Acadèmia Altimira, Cerdanyola in 2011, where they served as a TEFL Teacher. In 2012, they joined The Horner School of English as an International Program Coordinator. In 2015, they transitioned to SurveyMonkey, starting as a Customer Engagement Representative and later becoming a Senior Customer Engagement Executive. Esther then transitioned into localization roles, starting as a Project Manager in 2017, then becoming a Program Manager in 2019, and finally a Senior Program Manager in 2021. Esther'swork experience demonstrates their adaptability and growth within the localization and customer engagement fields.
Esther P. began their education journey in 2007, as they enrolled at the Universitat Autònoma de Barcelona. Esther pursued a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) degree in Translation and Interpreting and completed their studies in 2012.
Following their undergraduate studies, Esther pursued further education at ISTRAD - Instituto Superior de Estudios Lingüísticos y Traducción. From 2012 to 2014, they pursued a Master of Arts (M.A.) degree in Audiovisual Translation, specializing in Localization, Subtitling, and Dubbing.
In terms of additional certifications, Esther obtained a Global Digital Marketing and Localization Certification from the University of North Carolina Wilmington in 2021. Esther also holds a Lean Six Sigma Green Belt Certification from the Six Sigma Academy Amsterdam, obtained in January 2022. Furthermore, they obtained a certification in Advancing Women in Leadership from LWT: Advancing Women in Leadership in 2020. Additionally, Esther obtained certifications in Teaching English as a Foreign Language (TEFL) from The TEFL Academy and Teaching Spanish as a Foreign Language from Universitat Autònoma de Barcelona in 2017 and 2011 respectively.
In the midst of their educational journey, Esther was selected for an Erasmus Scholarship and studied English studies and Linguistics at the University of Wolverhampton from 2008 to 2009.
