Tim Farmer

Tim Farmer, PMP, serves as the Manager of the Aberdeen Research Operation at SURVICE Engineering, overseeing a large team and managing contracts, procurement, and budgets for complex research projects. With extensive experience in technical leadership roles, Tim has successfully managed multiple personnel and contracts for various Department of Defense customers, including the Army Research Laboratory and Sikorsky. Previous positions include Deputy Manager of the Research, Analysis, and Testing Group, and Team Lead of the Engineering Analysis Team, focusing on vulnerability and lethality analysis. Prior to SURVICE, Tim held multiple leadership roles in the U.S. Army, culminating in a Division Support Operations Maintenance Officer position during Operation Iraqi Freedom. Tim holds a Master of Science in Systems Engineering from The Johns Hopkins University and a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering from Lafayette College.
