TQ Jefferson's work experience includes roles at various companies in the gaming and entertainment industry. TQ began their career at Activision, where they worked as a Producer from 1997 to 2006. TQ then joined Pixar Animation Studios as a Sr. Manager, Interactive from 2006 to 2008.
In 2008, Jefferson moved to Marvel Entertainment, where they served as the Vice President of Production, Games. During their time there, they managed a team of game producers and oversaw the development of over 20 titles, including successful games such as Avengers Alliance, Marvel War of Heroes, and Contest of Champions. TQ also worked closely with Marvel's development partners, providing brand guidance and overseeing creative elements of the games.
From 2014 to 2016, Jefferson worked at Telltale Games as an Executive Producer. In this role, they were responsible for the creative and financial development of projects such as Tales from the Borderlands and The Walking Dead: Michonne Mini-Series.
In 2016, Jefferson joined Skybound Entertainment as an Executive Producer and Head of Product. TQ oversaw the development of various interactive projects and implemented new communication and project management software for the company.
Jefferson then moved to FoxNext Games in 2018, where they served as the Vice President of External Development. TQ managed external development initiatives for the company until 2019.
From 2019 to 2020, Jefferson worked at The Walt Disney Company as the Vice President of Games & Interactive Experiences for 20th Century Fox Properties. In this role, they managed a team of producers and artists, oversaw multiple gaming projects, and collaborated with the business development team on strategy and partnerships.
In 2021, Jefferson became an Advisor at BITKRAFT Ventures, providing guidance to the company.
Since 2020, they have been a Board Member and Chief Product Officer at Survios, a virtual reality game developer. In their role, Jefferson has been involved in high-level decision making and product development.
Additionally, Jefferson is a member of the LACC Game Art & Design/Esports Advisory Board starting from May 2023.
TQ Jefferson attended UCLA from 1991 to 1996, where they earned a BS/BA degree in Psychology and Asian Studies. They also obtained an MBA Certificate from Pepperdine Graziadio Business School in April 2019. In addition, TQ Jefferson has completed several certifications, including "Creative Writing: The Craft of Style" from Wesleyan University in September 2016, "Project Management: Initiating and Planning Projects" from the University of California, Irvine in August 2016, and "Creative Writing: The Craft of Character," "Creative Writing: The Craft of Plot," and "Creative Writing: Craft of Setting and Description" from Wesleyan University in July 2016.
