Alan Chan

Alan Chan currently serves as President at SUSE Greater China Region, leading innovations in Linux and container management/security software and services since August 2022. Prior to this role, Alan was President at Tableau China from 2021 to 2022, where responsibilities included driving business growth in the Chinese market through data analysis software. From 2016 to 2020, Alan held the position of President at Symantec Greater China, focusing on profitable software growth and full P&L responsibility across the region. Alan's earlier experience at EMC included Vice President roles in both the Greater China Cloud and Software Business, and the Commercial and Global Account sectors, where significant business growth was achieved. Alan holds an Executive Master of Business Administration from Tsinghua University and a Bachelor of Computer Science from Monash University.
