Alexandra Settle is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in product management and engineering within the cloud and open-source sectors. At SUSE since November 2018, Alexandra has held various roles including Senior Product Manager, responsible for cloud-native cluster management products; Software Engineering Manager, overseeing a team of engineers; and Product Owner, facilitating communication and prioritizing technical tasks. Prior to SUSE, Alexandra contributed to OpenStack as Project Team Lead and Technical Committee Member, and served at Rackspace in product operations and technical writing roles. Alexandra holds a Master of Computer Science from the University of Liverpool and a Bachelor of Creative Industries from the Queensland University of Technology, complemented by a course from MITx in programming with Python.
