Derek So

Derek So is an accomplished technology leader with extensive experience in cloud solutions and architecture. Currently serving as the Head of Solution Architects for Greater China at SUSE since July 2017, Derek has also held significant roles such as Principal Technologist for Cloud Native in Asia Pacific & Japan and Senior Cloud Technologist in the same region. Prior to SUSE, Derek was the Chief Technology Officer at Appcara, Inc. from November 2011 to March 2016 and worked as a Senior Cloud Architect at CenturyLink (formerly Savvis Inc.) from July 2007 to October 2011. Derek holds an MBA in IT Management from The Hong Kong Polytechnic University.
