Jeff Mahoney

Jeff Mahoney is an accomplished technology leader with over 23 years of experience at SUSE, currently serving as the VP of Engineering for Linux Systems. Mahoney has a proven track record in developing and leading the SUSE Labs Data & Performance division, overseeing a globally distributed team of fifty software engineers and architects across multiple teams focused on essential functions within the Linux Kernel. Prior to SUSE, Mahoney worked as a Systems Programmer III at the Rochester Institute of Technology, where core Digital UNIX/Tru64 cluster and application servers were designed and maintained for a large user base. Mahoney holds a BS in Computer Science from the Rochester Institute of Technology.
