Joachim Plack

Joachim Plack is a seasoned software architect and developer, currently serving at SUSE since August 2002. In this role, Joachim focuses on internal workflows and the tools supporting them. Previously, Joachim held the position of Senior Project Manager, overseeing joint software development projects between AMD and SUSE/Novell, and worked as a Senior Software Specialist on the PowerPC port of the SUSE Linux Enterprise product line. Prior to SUSE, Joachim was a Senior Software Developer, Team Lead, and Project Manager at Caldera Deutschland GmbH from January 1997 to August 2002. Joachim earned a degree in Computer Science from FAU Erlangen-Nürnberg from 1988 to 1995.
